Abigail L. Palko, PhD, director of the Maxine Platzer Lynn Women’s Center at the University of Virginia, has been named the inaugural director of the Residential Commons program at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ.

Brown and Hancock Residential Commons at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ will both welcome new co-directors in the 2023–24 academic year.

Nobel Peace Prize-winning journalist, free press advocate, and CEO of Rappler.com Maria Ressa will visit 91¶ÌÊÓƵ on Oct. 28 as the speaker for the Kerschner Family Series Global Leaders at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ.
